Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy applies to all services supplied by BOURDAYBLOG LLC, trading as Bourday Blog Studio.

Cancelling a single article order

You can cancel a per-article order at any time by emailing contact@bourdayblogstudio.com. What you are charged depends on how far the work has progressed, as set out in our Refund Policy.

Cancelling a monthly retainer

Retainers run month to month with no minimum term. To stop the next cycle, email us at least 7 days before your renewal date. Work already commissioned for the current month is completed and delivered as normal.

Pausing instead of cancelling

You can pause a retainer for up to two consecutive months once every twelve months, at no cost. Your rate is held for the pause and your calendar and voice guide are kept ready for restart. Let us know at least 7 days before the renewal date.

Managed Blog engagements

Managed Blog work is scoped a quarter at a time. You can cancel with 30 days written notice; the notice period is invoiced at the agreed monthly rate and we complete everything already in progress during it.

Cancellation by us

We may end an engagement with 30 days notice, or immediately where an invoice is more than 30 days overdue or where we are asked to produce content that is unlawful, deliberately misleading, or in breach of a third party’s rights. In that case you are charged only for work already delivered.

What happens to your material

On cancellation we hand over every brief, draft, and research file produced for you, whether or not the article was finished. Ownership of paid work transfers to you as described in our Terms of Service.
