Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern content and editorial services supplied by BOURDAYBLOG LLC, trading as Bourday Blog Studio (“we”, “us”), to you (“the client”). By commissioning work or paying an invoice you agree to these terms. They were last updated on 3 August 2026.

Services

We provide blog content services including content strategy, keyword research, editorial briefs, article writing, ghostwriting, editing and optimization, content refreshes, and publishing into your content management system. The exact deliverables for your engagement are those set out in the plan you select or in the written proposal we send you.

Quotes and scope

Prices published on this website apply to the scope described alongside them. Custom work is quoted individually and confirmed in writing before it begins. Anything not listed in the agreed scope — extra articles, additional channels, or specialist subject-matter work — is quoted separately and only started once you approve it.

Fees and payment

Per-article orders are invoiced before work begins. Monthly retainers are invoiced at the start of each cycle. Invoices are payable within 7 days unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply in your jurisdiction. We may pause work on an engagement with an overdue invoice.

Client responsibilities

You agree to provide the background material, brand guidance, and any CMS access we need, and to review briefs and drafts within a reasonable time. Where your review is delayed, delivery dates move by the same amount. You confirm that any material you supply to us is yours to use.

Revisions

Each article includes two rounds of revisions within the agreed brief, unless your plan states otherwise. If a delivered draft does not follow the approved brief, we will rewrite it at no cost and it will not count against your revision rounds. Requests that change the approved brief itself are treated as new work.

Ownership of content

On full payment for a piece of work, all rights in the final delivered content transfer to you, including copyright. Until payment is made, we retain those rights. We do not resell or reuse content written for you. Our internal templates, checklists, and working methods remain ours.

Use of AI tools

We use AI tools for research, keyword clustering, and outline development. Drafting and editing are performed by people, and every article passes a plagiarism and AI-detection screening before delivery. We will confirm this in writing on request.

Confidentiality

We treat your unpublished plans, business information, and credentials as confidential and will not disclose them to third parties except to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy. We will sign your own non-disclosure agreement on request.

No guarantee of rankings or traffic

Search rankings, traffic, and revenue depend on factors outside our control, including search engine algorithms, competitor activity, and the technical state of your website. We commit to the research, writing, optimization, and delivery standards described in your plan. We do not and cannot guarantee any particular ranking, traffic level, or commercial result.

Cancellation

Cancellation is governed by our Cancellation Policy, and refunds by our Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of an engagement is limited to the fees you paid us for the work giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost traffic, or lost business opportunity.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, United States. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of that state.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Changes apply to new engagements from the date they are published; existing engagements continue under the terms in force when they started.
